The Bogle family acquired the property that is now Meadow Ponds Estate at Bogle Farms in 2006.
For most of the 20th century, the property was home to the Spradlin Dairy Farm. The original 1800s farmhouse and the dairy barn, built in the 1940s, remain part of the Estate today—connecting what Meadow Ponds is now with the land’s long history.
Our original intention was simple: to invest in a place where our family and friends could gather for special celebrations, spend time together, and experience the wonder of nature—all within easy reach of our homes in Atlanta.
We built the Three Sisters’ Cabins so our daughters would have a place to stay when they visited with their families.
Their immediate response?
So, naturally, we built one—a large, resort-style saltwater pool right next to the cabins.
Before long, our friends began asking, “Could we ever stay there for a weekend?”
On a lark, we created a VRBO listing.
That’s when we began to realize that this place was special.
People who weren’t family—people who had never been here before—were willing to travel, bring their families, and pay to experience the Estate for themselves.
What began as a place for our own family gradually became a place that families from all over wanted to share.
The original master plan was created by architects Robert Mitchell and Keith Summerour, who designed the buildings and landscape to enhance the experience of being together on the property. As interest in staying at the Estate grew, we continued adding spaces and improving the property with that same idea in mind.
Then, in 2012, our youngest daughter was married here.
Soon, other couples began asking if they could host their weddings at the Farm.
That simple answer quickly turned into buying tables and chairs, welcoming wedding guests, and gradually becoming what we are today—an Estate venue where people come not just to celebrate, but to spend meaningful time together.
Britney’s Barn was added in 2015, followed by additional improvements and spaces as the demand for weddings continued to grow.
And grow.
And continues to grow.
Today, couples and their families travel from near and far—and from around the world—to celebrate some of the most important moments of their lives at Meadow Ponds.
For us, that is the greatest honor.
It is seeing the smiles, the tears of joy, and the gratitude on the faces of couples and their families.
Those moments make all the work, the long days, and the late nights worth it.
One of our proudest achievements, however, is something that happens after the wedding is over.
Some couples who were married at Meadow Ponds have come back to work weddings with our team. Some have stayed involved for several years.
To us, that says something very special about Meadow Ponds. What begins as a wedding can become a lasting relationship—and sometimes, even a return to be part of creating that experience for someone else.
For more than 20 years, Meadow Ponds has been a place where our own family has gathered, celebrated, laughed, relaxed, and made memories together.
We hope your family and friends will experience that same sense of connection here.
Sometimes it is hearing a parent say:
